Harper Coffee Company exists because standards matter.

Early in my military career, coffee was simply a necessity as fuel for long hours, cold weather, and demanding conditions. Over time, I learned the difference between coffee that merely exists and excellent coffee. That distinction stayed with me through careers in the military and federal law enforcement.

In those professions, shortcuts are not an option. Details matter. Consistency matters. Quality is never accidental; it is the fruit of discipline, accountability, and respect for the work entrusted to you.

That same conviction has been shaped and sharpened beyond uniformed service. As a Christian ministry leader and college professor, I have learned that faithful stewardship matters as much in teaching and shepherding as it does in any profession. The truth is that all of life is lived coram Deo, before the face of God.

Therefore, even the most ordinary work, when done well, is an act of stewardship. Standards are not arbitrary; they are a matter of obedience. That mindset is the foundation of Harper Coffee Company.

We do not exist to chase trends or flood the market with noise. We exist to offer coffee and tea done well, carefully sourced, thoughtfully handled, and consistently reliable. Coffee you can trust, cup after cup.
